Skimming over silk wall's

Hi all looking for a bit of help / advice.

I've just bought a house and I've gotta to re-skim the lot as they are too rough to do anything with. The walls are plasterboarded skimmed and painted with silk.

Is it a simple case of blue grit the lot, leave it dry and skim ? What's better to use for multi finish or board finish?

Price isn't a issue I just want it done right don't want to be redoing it in a few years!!!

If your planning on doing this yourself and asking such basic questions it sounds like price is an issue and you will be redoing it in a matter of weeks not years

If price isn't an issue then just get a local spread to come out and give you a quote? Otherwise good luck with it! Reckon if you try and do it yourself you will regret it pretty soon after the first hour max!

If your looking for 100% quality and efficiency and price isn't an issue (not that we overcharge) I have a standard rate per M2, depending on the background.. get in contact
