Just wondered if anyone could post a general list of surfaces you can skim over and what u shouldn't for us novices??

Haha... As soon as I posted this I thought oh what have I done! And the reply's confirm that.. Lol
not sure what it is but you come accross what seems like thin hardboard usually with a artex kind of finish... Not a clue what it actually is, maybe wood maybe not I don't know but as a novice I wouldn't plaster over it but we had a pro in and he did. Like I say don't know what it was def not plasterboard or plastered wall....
