Yeah boy
So anyone had any new deliveries of plaster yet?????

I’m dedicating one day a week now to pick up materials and deliver them myself to jobs mate . travis apparently won’t deliver to my domestic jobs as they aren’t as safe as “proper” sites , this is the last straw for me I’ve even wrote a list now of people I will never purchase from ever

I have a similar list but travis ain't on it bud... Got a call yesterday off my local travis manager to say they are due skim in this week and do i want some as he doesn't want it to go live on the website as none regular customer and people out of the area will snaffle it all up...... You wouldn't get that from b and q or Wickes.....

Friend works as a plasterer for a massive housing association maintenance arm.. 1000s of workman and a lot of buying power. Told him about 10 days ago about the shortage and he laughed saying we are too big a set up we wont run out ....they ran out last week and presently cant source any gear.

Not at all.... 1st manager they had was an arse.... He was grumpy, not help full and moaned like hell if you returned anything... This new guy is helpful and on the ball..... Might get them some biscuits at xmas....

I am off on a clandestine mission to pick some up tomorrow.
Involves whispered phone calls and container shipped in.
Don't know make or amount yet.

I bought a palette of Carlite Finish so I could finish my house renovation. A plasterer that my builder knows said he would take any excess. He’s now reneged on this. So I have 15 bags of 25kg Carlite Finish that I have available. With palette delivery, I paid £11.97 per bag. Just looking to cover costs. I’m in the Bracknell, Berkshire area.

Is anyone interested?

The bit that I dont understand is how if there running at 80% production yet everyone has massive backlogs is how that going to work out?

The reality is they probably need to be working at 20 times more capacity than normal to meet existing demand.

This shortage will be issue way after pubs and schools have reopened at this rate!
