Went to price a living room 2 walls 24x8 and 2 walls 8x8 not a bad size explaining to customer the process payment etc and he says well if you can do it for £200 the job is yours ....I nearly F*****g choke did you speak to someone else because I don’t price till I see a job. He had spoken to someone else £200 any size of room, he says what’s your best price I say it doesn’t matter because it’s nowhere near £200 ....customer says I will give him a chance and will let you know, so in other words if he is crap your going to phone me to sort out his s*** well that would be double my price then .... so people

Priced job two weeks ago builder rang said owner got somebody to do upstairs bedrooms asked if I could still do the rest stair wall rsj patching shitty bits pfffft
 
Nightmare.. Just looking for the cheapest option. Trust me, you'll be called back. the reason they do it so cheaply is because of their skill set. They're hopeless but that kind of cash means something to them. Stick to your guns mate and get what you deserve. At the end of the day it's more fool the customer for looking for the easy way out. A good plasterer is seriously difficult to come by and that's why we charge high rates.
