I have skimmed over woodchip paper on a ceilin many times! No bond it, pva,........ The secret is put plasterboard over the paper before skimmin! Works a treat, never fails:RpS_lol:

its not good practice to skim wallpaper ffs.....ya need to put a tight coat of bonding over it first:rolleyes)

if I come across any wallpaper just score it plenty of time with a knife wet it with brush or sponge what ever is closest to me let it soak . never had any trouble get any paper off including wood chip

Haha, i only do it if I don't like the decorator, funny as **** seeing their puzzled face next day, you can tell their thinking " I'm sure I papered that wall yesterday!"
