it was airborne if I remember right who first posted pics of some about 3 maybe 4 year ago ....erm i think

You need to seal them first with Artexi sealer then build up the deeper areas first then 2 coats of a water based stain

Thanks for the info @Ashleyscoob . Started it few days ago but did the staining today . Still fresh and not as good as I would like it , but for first attempt I think it’s ok. Decided to try bark effect on the wall , but decided too late and the multi was few ideas harder than I needed it to be . When dry might change the colour too , but this I will know when I Get back to it.

Quite east really. Make a box frame out if whatever you like. Metal or wood. When boarding it imaging you let a total wastercut the boards for you. Don't have the edges nice and neat. Plenty of scrim on every joint. Slap on a thick bonding coat nice and heavy. As it's drying out use brush stroked to create the wood grain. Then add whatever detail you like. Once dry it's just about trial and error. I used different wood stains to make it look aged.
You can take it further by adding detail such as knots in wood or adding extras such as nail heads etc.
