speed skim, eze spat thread x2

Just about to order another speedskim same size as one I gave away and will be also buying an eze spat as well but want to know, does the eze spat pole fit speedskim or vise versa.

Another thing, if your onling P1SS, check your PMS.
 
No they don't, some folk have 'fit' them in I've read, but can't see how without ballsing them up

So its a pole for each one :( i thought I was going to get away with just buying one!

I'm pretty sure the new adjustable EZE Pole will also fit the Speedskim attachment. I need to check.

s**t, mustin have sent. Was just wondering if I order now for Belfast, will it be there for sat or if I order for here in south will it be here for Tues and how much is both postage for 1 1200speedskim, 1 1200eze spat and pole.

Reason being, I might be up there untill Mon night but have job on that I need them for on Tues here in south. Dont want to be up there if it arrives here or vise versa and miss the delivery.

NI or ROI next day is £25 which is a nightmare so I would avoid that.

£10.50 for a 2 day delivery

All jokes aside, can't wait to get my hands on this new eze spat now see what its like. Bought the 1m one instead with 1200 speedskim and adjust pole. Hopefully the pole fits both. If not, the misses will be down a brush pole and duck tape lol
 
Isn't Isn't a eze spat for the same job as a speed skim but the stainless blade means u can take it through to the end ?

You can finish with an eze spat, you can't with speedskim. So I've read on here anyway. Want it more for ceiling's. @BigK threw a few pics on here and has mentioned quite a lot that theyre handy for ceilings.
 
The speedskim will flatten it. The eze spat is the same as a s*p*r*lex trowel. Would you flatten with that?
 
I've got the original pole for the eze, a big metal one it's absolutely solid is the new one lightweight @Plasterers1StopShop ? I've lost the screws for it too I just put it on loose for ceilings works fine.

Ok take it as a semi flexible trowel, it won't flatten as early in the set as the speed skim.
Tbh I rarely go mad with speedskim on walls in new houses I work on, I use it a bit, but too many things need going over with trowel, around beads, angles, ceiling angle etc. So just use trowel.
On ceilings though they are a joy, push wires up to pull through later and just lash over it, no chance of tiger stripes by going on it too early, it just gets it flatter/sooner.
And that's from someone who was in the 'just put it on flat' brigade

Bhoys and their toys! I'm like a kid at xmass every time I'm waiting on a tool arriving. Just last week I bought a new dewalt reciprocating saw and even thou i had the older model and theres not much difference, i still couldn't wait to get it out of the box when it arrived. Sad fcuker really lol.
