For some reason (sod knows why) alot of plasterers have a big hang up about new trowels .. I personally don't give a flying monkeys what trowel anyone likes or users.. Never in million years would I of thought a plastic 600 blade would be my favourite trowel..now I can't live without it.
At 22 years old then using it for the rest of your career will no doubt save your body from getting totally mashed up.. It's a no brainer.

Got to be resentment.

While we knocked our nuts out with 11s 13s and 14s years ago, new kids now got it way easier. And they're going to last longer doing it.

What type of pole are you guys using? Literally any decorators pole? I've got a purdy pole that's extendable but it was crap in my white speedskim 1200. Seemed wobbly. In hindsight I should have opted for the 600

I never got on with the 1200 so I cut it down to a 800, lovely to use. You need a decent rigid pole ( phnarr phnarr) I put a thread attachment on a metal pole and gives great control

300 &1.2 are great for most flattening does make ceilings quicker n easier great on boards but not as great on sand cement.

Been out with pete today for a speedskim day, wanted to get to grips with it before trying it on my own.....understand the hype now....so easy and takes out a lot of work and was interesting seeing vince finish wit it, wouldnt dare myself but looked spanking by the end.

Used my Refina spat today and I just don't like it much, I want to get a blue 600 speedskim now. My Mrs will go mad if I buy anymore tools!
