Spongers how do you do it?

Sod the sponging and one coating........thats a bodgers ways!!!!! Do it properly or dont fecking bother!!!!!

Bollox...... I am comfortable with both methods and there is no discernible difference.....your entitled to your opinion...but in this case your wrong.

Seen plenty of rough two coat work and excellent sponged one coat work and vice versa ....ability of the spread is the most important factor.

Fair comment bud. As you say everyones got there way of doing it. Its what works for them. As long as the finish is good and the customers happy thats all that counts.

Ive seen a **** load of poor two coat work too. They might as well have one coated and sponged it!!!!!!
 
We one coat on site over board but on domestics its nice to see good workmanship 2 coats of finish.
Your not a bad plasterer just because you one coat on jobs
Iv seen jobs that have had 2 coat and jobs that have one coat and look the same
some times its the only way maybe the money isn't there time scale of the job.
Theres good and bad in all trade in my eyes if it pains up ok happy days
