spots showing through artex

Hope u can see pics. It was from a reskim of heavy artex. Told customer it needed re baording be he said just skim it :RpS_thumbup: told him would do it with no guarantees etc and he was happy. Went to do another job at his today and the ceiling has dried out with stains all over the place. Hes not kicking off and im just curious why this has happended. We used feb bond 24 hrs before and then two thick coats of finish?? Its still nice and flat etc just looks bloody awfull unpainted!

Grease/nicotine spots coming through, definitely stain block it.

Watched a subby trying to skim a greasy/nicotine kitchen ceiling once it was sliding all over the place, he was fuming saying I'm going to tell that fat bitch to lay off the chips, was funny.
