i dont think it will save you any time getting it on the wlls/lids
plus id question its bond as i put bit of pressure behind it when im laying it on

nah been discussed mate, not tried it myself but those that have have found it clogs nozzles etc...
great in theory, sh'te in practice, watch someone prove me wrong now...:RpS_laugh:

tryed it once wen was a lab and its awful to do makes right mess
av to spend a fair while cleaning it all out proply lot quick n easyer to use a roller n just wrap the roller in a bag
plus puts it on the wall uneven

I use a garden sprayer for gyp prime make the whole a little bigger on the nozzle once finished flush through with water as for pva roller all the time.

I wouldn't bother mate I 've worked with guys that have used those garden sprayers for pva and had a go to try. They always clog up in the end, and make a mess on the floor below the wall.

Stick to roller/brush thats what I do.

get a pole on your roller....
mine never comes off, even for walls, big window cleaners style bucket, 12" double ended roller from wickes - ill pva a room out in under 5 minutes, ceiling included...

trick is, load your roller right up, start at the bottom and push it up the wall...
start at the top and it ends up all over the floor...

Roller for me too, but I have used the big garden pump sprayers before only on old dusty brickwork with a very weak pva then run warm soapy water through it straight after use,
I've had it years & never clogged up, also use it for wetting walls down & spraying wallpaper backing when stripping walls before a reskim.:RpS_thumbup:

I use a sprayer for troweling up but for PVA I use a a roller... also I dont wrap mine up in a bag when I finished I just leave it because next you use it it comes to lfe quick enough and you dont have a sticky bag to contend with :-) (so to speak)

good tip for livening up rollers....

chuck em in the washing machine with the teatowels...

come out like brand new, although maybe had a little haircut...

A lot cheaper than the ones in spunkys link from refangina,
about £30.

Pva or bond it rollers in a carrier bag for me:RpS_thumbup:

LOL...

I use the little hand pump ones... not the hair dressers ones but the ones you pump up to pressure first :-)

i thought as much lads always use a big wooley roller on a pole....just liked the thought of blasting a room out in no time with a big ghost busters pack on my back!...oh well back to the drawing room.

ta for all replies lads!:RpS_thumbup:
