Spraying thin coat

Can I spray thin coat renders? Can be hard work doing big areas on your own. I’m sure it would be easier to spray. If so, what’s the best machine and how does it work. Would I still need to rub it up with a plastic float?

Turn the compressor down it will be flat, or just run a steel float over it very gently

interesting.....
i used a 15cfm compressor runs at around 7 bar

You can get a good and different effect on it by spraying then flattening with a trowel. Seen it in Canada.

Of your using 1.5mm texture use the 4mm nozzle and turn the air down so it’s not bouncing off the wall or leaving a stipple, try the steel floats too I use em when I’m hand applying they take that extra bit of fat off and keeps everything even and looking mint

Is the op referring to bucket coat or thin coat render like Lac?

If he is talking about thin coat rendering not bucket material then the Eze24 but then that machine will do both render and bucket. Even if he rubs bucket up he can still spray it on.
