What scaffold do people use to do stairs. Ive looked at the cheapo ones on ebay and not sure theyd even get you to the top. Im not sure if two sets of steps and a plank are a good idea long term. If some people do just use a plank what method do you use for the wall above the stairs where the ladder has to lean against?

Any links or names of a decent but not cripplingly expensive scaffold would be good.

4 bits of 3*2 and a boss tower scaff platform on it, easy to move and doesn't lean on the wall

Looks really good scottie, not something I would have even thought of, but think it will be out of my budget for a while. Might try attaching an extendable leg to my ladder so it can stand up straight off two different steps, then ladder and planks for the main wall up the stairs.....probably break my neck at some point though

To be fair ive used a ladder and deal for many years with no problems on most domestics I still do.
A couple of the main firms i sub to will only allow these type of systems to be used on their sites so its through necessity not choice that I have them.

stairs and scaffold

Most of time ,2 scaffold planks,on smaller landings normally fine on a ladder and I flip them in and out of way..this one was a bit of a risk really but it worked for me anyways

Don't start going on about h n s.
