Defo curved all the time tried getting em straight but you Always see something looks good painted curved
I'm really surprised that almost everyone says that you can't get these creases straight. Surely as plasterers you should be able to in all but extreme cases.
Thing is most clients don't want to may for what it can take to straighten them.
IMO this is no place for stop beads, it should be achieved by floating out with Bonding.
This is by far the longest crease I've done, and the clients said the straightness of it was the most important detail of their whole build. It was about 25m long. Importantly they were willing topay for it. And were delighted with the results, despite diabolical carpentry.

Plenty of trades looked at it, but no one found fault with it. That was good enough for me.Bet I'd still look at it and say it's on piss and look s**t!

When I do these I trowel, float, trowel, and concentrate on keeping my trowel/float as tight and straight to the dry edge as possible, constantly keeping the line clean, you only have to chatter the trowel As ur Putting on against the dry edge , then all of a sudden Uve built Up A high spot ,but it’s not until the ceiling/walls and splays Are completed that u know if u have got away with it, that’s the problem.I'm really surprised that almost everyone says that you can't get these creases straight. In 30 years I've never seen 1 bang on no matter who or how it's been approached.
Sure some are passable and better than others but never ever bang on.
Those that think they have done 1 that's bang on the worse people you want to do them because I guarantee I'd stand under them and look up and laughter at what they think is great and talked the punter into.

Nothings ever bang on but can look right to the eye, I personally hate straight lines on vaulted ceilings looks G**
