Basically a whole house then! Plus stripping the paper on the ceilings which is no doubt covering up old tired lath. £1500!!! Joke that site.

I dont really use it much just went on there back in Jan when I thought things would be a bit quiet but haven’t hardly used it. But sometimes I look at it just for the comedy value.

We signed up to it and never used it..it should read my re***d site..u can pick some decent jobs up on rated people but some of them are laughable aswell was one last week to hack off a wall riddled with damp and treat and re do and budget was under £100

Minus materials and expenses. Its a pittance.
I thought it was labour only I'd just tell him il do it for that. He strips wall paper and blue grits the lot material 250 works around 180 a day if your not happy keep looking

How can you come to all these conclusions on a job you havent seen?

Could be loads of different problems which will swallow up time to sort!

Not to mention if ceilings are papered then they will need reboarding never mind stripping!

Do you want a blue peter badge or sumat :coffe:

Why’s that? I’ve stripped loads of ceilings to find nice flat surface pva n skim done.

Dunno how you lot find the energy to over-board everything

Ps I’d want double the price for labour plus mats

Jesus here we go again!

I would suspect a 1930s houses ceilings to be lat & lathe hence why now held up with lining paper!

Hence new plasterboard ceilings required!
