I'd want near £3500 for that, £4000 if they want paper removing. Wallington's a shithole though, and Carshalton bluergh, my mum lives about a mile from there.

If he was lucky I MIGHT do the ceilings for £1500. Actually, the fact he even has that attitude means I'd want £1500 just to type up a free estimate telling him to f**k off. Tight ignorant customer, I loathe people like that.

I would suspect a 1930s houses ceilings to be lat & lathe hence why now held up with lining paper!

Hence new plasterboard ceilings required!

Way out o the price far to low .bet the ceilings are all barreled aswell with picture rails to skim to

Awesome Thread, I love it when someone chips in with what they own. 3 houses blah blah I never talk about what I have despite owning two houses, I've been around the block plenty of times to get them, I also own a hotel but never mention it.. I've bought 2 train stations outright and if I buy 2 more I'll get double rent....
