I'm doing more and more high end jobs where they are asking for it. I wonder if the reason is because there are less really good plasterers around that skim to a perfect finish. I only know a couple of spreads that I could recommend to do a top job. I'm doing this at the moment, it'll be about a million and a half once finished, and I'm taping it. looks interesting work tony ----- do you do all the studding as well

Builder ant even used moisture its his own house I suppose so his choice,we had a big curve like uve got in his master bedroom used 6mm boards went around the curve like a dream
I usually use 2 layers of 6mm on curves. I screw the first layer but only screw the ends of the second layer and stick the middle. I also stagger the boards. I find it eliminates any flat spots where the board is pulled against the studs with the screws, giving a really smooth curve.

Not here. Just the boarding & taping. I do do studwork if asked. This is an eco build. I do the drylining for the building company which is a subsidiary of a firm of architects. They can then offer their clients the full design and build package.

Ive used them a lot kitchy over the years, they are a versitile well made board for tight areas and overboarding old lath ceilings while keeping the character shape etc.
