where do you get your tarps from..... and how much? the places, i used to get mine from currently dont sell them at the moment because its christmas or they've sold out. cheers

Wickes do them not sure how much, they also do shheets of polythene 4 about 6 quid think they r 6metres by 3 lay that down and put your dust sheet on top

on carpet etc i use polythene sheet taped then throw a dust sheet ontop to soak up any gear i spill.

Wickes do a ig tarp for a 5er, very good value, and there big thick polythene sheets are dead cheap also.

gps do you use dust sheets aswell as tarps

I do use both (not on top of the other though} its alot safer using tarps when on stilts and Im now using tarps more as they last longer as they dont hold the dust like dust sheets

i use a thick black damp proof membrane sheet and then round the edges of the room by the walls i use catch boards, about 1ft wide about 4ft long (ply) nice and easy to scrape the muck off at the end of the day

i've just started using a "catch board" as i was fed up with plaster finding it's way into that one small gap where the sheet had come away from the wall!!

ive got a h/s/l to do soon and it'll be a two day job so was thinking of using this stuff on the stairs Link Removed tried it ?

never used that before but im sure its been mentioned on here before.. theres some kind of rung system that goes at the back of each step and keeps the sheet nicealy held to the contrours of each step reducing chances of tripping etc

iv used black plastic sheets be for if im ganna be workin in the room a while..there £2 each from travis 2400x 1800 i think..they thin flexi and u can cut um with a knife 2 fit them nicely in 2 the room..work £10 for a big job..
