I’m gonna get a flexi waste pipe too for the shower waste,be good to have on van for future jobs too , had that brain wave after I posted , customer had a shower when applying all ran down wall,does help if they just go to work god dam itIt’s good plastic but I’m not sure it would take hot water. Only made for rainwater Pete.

So have I mate and I can assure you that the water doesn't come out hot enough to melt plastic. Christ if it did all our plates and cutlery would be f**k*d.Think they have a combi boiler Andy
Temporary downpipe sleeves are for attachment to the gutter joint so if it rains the water runs down them and not all down the wall most of time am lucky enough to not have to use them as only do small jobs but have to on job I’m at , if water runs down when materials on wall it washes it offWhats this thread about, i dont get it, is it a render thing?

I used them back in Oct for first time...was windy so had to use small bits of plastic downpipe to tape it to scaffold just above ground(otherwise could restrict flow)
Do flap about in wind though ....

Downpipes taken off to render. Cant fix back on till render dries. Dont want rain running down the wallWhats this thread about, i dont get it, is it a render thing?
