Does tennis elbow happen to all plasterers ?

I have it approx once every 2 years. It lasts around 4 or 5 months then goes.

Not all, some. I think it's compulsory for tennis players though.

I had it really bad in both arms doing float and set about 20 years ago. A friend told me to get arm sport support's. The ones with Velcro on the wrist and upper arm with the metal bar linking them. I had to work in them for for 6 months but it worked a treat. It stops you overturning your wrist which causes the problem. I hope this helps.

I don't think I ever had it tbh. Being doing real plastering for 18 years float and set wetdash dry dash mono. What is it. Is it like a striking pain down your arm.

ive had a twinge for the past couple weeks.
started laying ocr. 3m in and it was sharp pain from back of elbow down the forearm.
next day couldnt brush my teeth or wipe my arse......
still get the pain now. find troweling down is fine but trowel up hurts

I've used a strap that goes just below the elbow when I've suffered and using 14" instead of 16" trowel helped no end .

Mines is starting to ache a bit.....cold doesnt help with long shifts.
Fuuck it ....got a break coming soon .
