Ive been advised not to mix with the likes of you....
While I'm doing my knauf elite training.. 6 weeks intensive honest learning...soz

I wear my sleeve on my heart.(y)

I can't see it being any good for a decent spread using 10-15 bags a day surely?

No idea mate, Im on domestics and never used more than 6 bags in a day (and cant think of a situation where I would) depends on running time per charge & power output....not looked into it yet but I bought a battery powered garden strimmer and it was garbage so will look at the running time per single charge...it would atleast get pete to stop saying mind the cable every time I mix up when working with him

lol that's true about the cable , water in bags in , just about to pull trigger "watch the cable" ,
The pft/collomix dude said they not out till October I think

Using 10-15 bags a day doesn't make you decent mate. Doing three bags and getting same cash as doing 10 bags makes you decent

To be honest I don't need advice on how many bags to lay on thanks!!
I have a 3/1 gang and my point was a battery powered drill probably won't be any good for knocking up large amounts!!

The collomix battery drill will be available in a few months. It is 18v and capable of mixing 3-4 bags per battery. It has a 5.2 amp lithium battery which is a far better battery technology used in any previous cordless whisks.
The gearbox on the XO mixers are able to mix larger mixes using smaller motors. For eg the xo6 is classed as a 5-6 bag mixer compared to eibenstock which has a more powerful motor and only classed as a 3-4 bag mixer.
It will be more suited to plasterers on private work or guys working on their own who mix up smaller amounts. Its definitely the way forward for paddle mixers, battery technology is improving all the time and if this drill is successful i think we will see more powerful mixers using bigger batteries like 36v and dewalts 52v. Could be very handy for us
