Wasn't my ceiling. Wasn't rubbed up, never is and have never seen any issues. Wasn't skimmed same day, bonding on in afternoon, skimmed first hit next morning.


Edit. I'm going to rough it up, PVA it on Monday morning and hit it last hit on Monday or pva again monday @5 then hit Tuesday morning.

Your probably right. As for lack of key, I've never had an issue when not devil floating bonding but maybe its been a case of both. I think the other plasterer might have pvad it and after it fell, he's denied it not wanting to look stupid throwing it on to early.
