Just a quick question to @Plasterers1StopShop why does it say hawk and handboards? Are they 2 separate items? U need to get off the fence and let's finally but this dilemma to a end!!

He done a cornice repair for him in the 50’s.

Hobo probably met him!
so smoother who has deep deep regrets, now emotionally scarred for ever, about leaving the north to move down south,
and cockney who lives down south and cant wait to get up north, and all the benefits and happiness that will bring,
its called a HANDBOARD,
your new work colleagues will remind you on a daily basis when you move up here cockney, smoother will give you some helpful advice about your new colleagues

I was contacted through the spirit World and spoke to the world's first ever plasterer! He said it's definitely a HAWK and to pass it on! So there we have it!!

It's because of how hawk handlers get the hawk to sit in the glove attached to there hand! The northern version of hand board was introduced because they just about know what a hand is and know what a board is! It was clearly simplised because the just kept saying eh, eh, eh when it was tried to be explained to them!
