Hi , skimmed this artex bathroom ceiling about 2 months ago, 2 coats of SBR and then two layers of Multifinish followed by 2 wet towels. Since I skimmed it it has become a shower and the customers have been using it but all this time the ceiling was never painted and the plaster started to came loose in places specially in the shower area.
If the ceiling would have been painted this wouldn’t have happened? Because that was what I said and they kind not having it .
