Such a shame this Forum is Sooooooo Slooooooow these days.

(A little less advertising would speed up the site :)

Yahoo had the same problem with their Homepage - Now less Ads = Faster load-time.

I know Ads pay for the forum, but what good is that if Google kicks it into touch for being TOO Slooooow :-(

I find it fast enough for my needs? Run task manager and see what processes are using up your memory. You'll probably be shocked by what you find?
 
Fecking pop up adds do my nut in in wen I'm scrolling down click on sumat then a pop up add cums up and make me select wrong thing..

Its only slow when there is a s**t tonne of traffic at peak times :D

over 100K visits a month and most of that traffic is in the evenings :D

The app is quicker 99% of the time

A little porn on here wouldn't hurt,......speed generally might increase as folk use the freeze frame a time or two......

been researching it today , been very emotional for me to finally have to leave my Nokia after all these years but 7 has everything i want, waterproof,dust proof,unbreakable ish, improved processor, wi less headphones (digital sound, oh yes) and icing on cake improve 7mp top of market selfie lense, Heaven

oh and 25 % brighter than 6 , lol with 12mp dark light improvement to main camera as well

I'm just happy if it can take calls and call out..texts etc......
It's just a phone....?
or is it a computer,with a great camera with the built in tech that let's you make phone calls from it too:loco:
 
The traffic today has been huge... if we were nice to our advertisers we may be able to spend even more money on the next step up

The cult of apple is insidious. I'm sorry. I don't want to put a downer on your purchase but if you are still within the 28 day day cooling off period for god's sake cancel. Try an LG G5 or a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. At least you'll be able to sleep at night.

I know mate, that's why I said it's emotional to leave Nokia, I have am probably the last person in u.k to own a Nokia my contract ran out 6 month's ago and am anti ibore but I have had to give in,to upload photos/videos to my i mac is absolute nightmare,Nokia don't do phones anymore so it's either iPhone or Samsung now and that's it ,unfortunately it's how world is mate. What else could I do

I'm still on a Nokia mate or Microsoft Windows Phone as its called now, utter dog shite these have got over the past year or two.

Apps are shite, instagram is shite, facebook is shite, snap chat dont cant get it, slow, the only good thing is the camera and that's got shite. Cant wait to get a shiney new Samsung or sony

You could've get a Google pixel or a huawei p9 or a HTC 10, my other half got iPhone quite a while, nothing else but struggle. I don't rate them at all. Always been a Nokia man myself but android phones are the bees knees nowadays

I know. My contract is up in January but I don't know what to choose next. I have the Nokia Z Launcher on my LG now. Brilliant and simple. That's why I would never use Apple. Because you are stuck to their apps and pricing for the dongles headphones etc. But each to their own. Hope you like it. My son has the 7 and loves it.

But they are Chinese as well, I am anti moneyworld like what sponker is saying but I had to give in,when choice iphone or Samsung what is in that article he put up was on my mind I'll be honest.. Hated giving in to the bastards but I can't do owt to change it, but plastering well that's different innit ..stuff the Germans and American's I'm 100% made in Britain, plaster and trowels and van and additive's, clothes are the exception though they are Swedish but Sweden ain't in e.u so that's ok,

Looked at them phones the google ones are more expensive now they use to be cheaper but ain't no more ,cheapest they did was £50 a month,iphone 7 £33 a month , £30 upfront cost
 
On a side not the tapatalk app is still lightning quick when the forum is busy

I've not had a problem with mine, the layout is way better than iPhone as it's android, and there's every kind of app you could wish for.

So you need to replace your iPhone and your cousin because they're both a bit crap. (y)

Ffs I always avoid technical debates with you on here, right I only took his word for it, ermmm is Sony waterproof? Like 7 and does it have wireless headphones?... Contrary to popular belief thses thing's are important to me... Not just selfie 7 mp
