So my cousin has been converting his loft and done a good job tbf for a plasterer now he’s at finishing stages he has a dorma with roughly 20m2 and is looking at pb board and a finish, local merchants have said parex ehi 6mm and silicone on top but just thought I’d ask had anyone who does a lot of timber frame thincoat systems got any particular favourite they like more than the others , he’s not particularly bothered if it’s jub or vimark or anything else , just wants a nice finish that will stand the test of time with it being so high up
Thanks

Do you mean cement particle board?

The usual thin coat system. Most are good but I like Jub. If it is not near a busy road then their Nano otherwise full silicone.

Ehi goes over Parex maitie and is a top Coat coat at 12-15 mm so you've duff information there,
But Parex, enewall, Jub there top silicone coats are all similar just choose your grain ie, 1 or 2mm etc.
