Tiger stripes/white marks

Hi guys, I’m struggling a fair bit with tiger stripes/white marks as I’m trowelling up, so looking for some advice as to what I’m doing wrong?

I’m 1st coating, letting that pull in, 2nd coating, letting that pull in, flattening then letting that pull in again. Then this is where I’m starting to get them, if I use water I get them, if I don’t use water I get them.

Am I just trowelling too soon?

Maybe ease up on the pulling in bits.

They are caused by fat on your trowel.
