anybody ever used dry lining compound for wall tiling not over wet areas,it is just a thought as using ready mixed today looked similar to the dry lining compound when mixed up firm,i may try some tomorrow as a trial and error project,
The ready mixed gear relies on the air drying it I think so might be a problem, is say it would work but depends on the background and the type of tile.
Just use the right stuff bud ,it will cost ye in the long run!and if it's just ceramic your fitting it s probably the same price for a tub of ready mixed or a bag of rapid for the floor a few quid more than a bag of adhesive.
