Yes, I use tape for tile beads as well.

2 sizes.
Metro, or equivalent 20x10.
25 x 20 typical of white/bumpy white etc.

That's better but you should be using mm.

Do you back butter metro tiles? 25x20?

Was just gonna say that....back buttering is to aid adhesion on heavy or large tiles. Simply not required on small format tiles

Thats why I use ripped up cardboard from the tile boxes as spacers.

Also levelling systems with cheap large tiles and porcelain a must...some wickes cheap tiles are 2/3 mm different in size.

My dad used to do a lot of tiling and that bought back some memories of using cardboard as spacers.

We tilers are resistant to change.
