Sounds good Frank. Any pictures of your showroom? It's interesting the different ways people have there showrooms with cornice.

Off till Jan. Because the baby is due March and I haven't touched our new house in over 2 months. There's a good solid 3 months work left before its even possibly liveable. All a big task when doing it on your own. Can't just sit behind a desk Barking like some... *cough*@Danny*cough,

been screeding for 5 days now , 100 mil thick , pissed off ,in pain , and the builder wants the job done for xmas , and the plumber not tested his under floor heating ...................

Not tested and you've already screeded it? Ffs

I'm sure everyone's sick to death of disclaimers, almost every job for a builder is always a rush did a front of a terrace for a builder this year the fcker painted it 3 days later!!

ripped an old back boiler out of chimney breast this morning, blocked it up, new spanlight. smashed an old cast bath to pieces with a sledgie this afternoon to get it out. my ears keep ringing. back there in a a week or two. how the fcuk did they get those cast baths in ffs. someone told me they used to put them on their backs like a tortoise and crawl up the stairs with them ,,, :RpS_unsure:

It's frequently some daft b4stard that's watched Grand Designs or homes under the hammer and thinks everything happens in half the time it actually takes. Then you'll get some idiot who gets greedy and takes the job on promising all sorts of nonsense. He then gathers all of the sh1t into a big ball at the top of the hill ready for the trades and subbies to start coming up.

Unfortunately there is far too much thick in the world, and apparently it's illegal to try and thin it out. :RpS_thumbdn:

make the builder sign a disclaimer. when we screed for the mod it has to be flooded every day and covered for 10 days.
