just thought id mention as I was asking about what people use when doing lids as have a bad back...

anyway on a proper refurb empty house job at mo...so bought 2 cheapo 700mm long hopups...

and 2 plamks @ 2.4 and then bought a sheet of ply and cut it @700mm x 2.4...and screwed over the boards...

managed to do 2 of the small bedrooms with out having to get off at all with the tub on the board etc...worked well!!!

recon can probabley pull about 6m2 at a time without moving so most lids prob only need to move a couple or 3 times...

thought might be a halfway house between scaff full room out aposed to just using hopups etc:bailando:
 
Sounds like you have made something similar to a youngman staging board. I also suffer with a damaged back and the jumping up and down off platforms doesnt help.
Anything that makes the job easier zombie.
 
Im still at the stage when i crawl out of bed on a morning ok when im at work come home stop! Then crawl upstairs to bed then the whole cycle repeats! Talk about groundhog day!! Ahh the life of a spread warning to the youth! Get out now it will be the death of u!!!:frenetico:

yeah -- i got to that stage that why i went into teaching - easier on the joints, but its not every body,s ideal job:) and the pensions not bad :bananahappy:
 
the fitness of you shower! if some woman came on here and said that she would double your money for a good rub out 90% of the forum could not do it !
