Brick acid,spirits of salt, is no no with trowels but cleans levels up good, vinegar works ok but i just use a decorators scraper.

i dnt like useing those scrapers i tried it once and ended up with a load of nicks in the blade of the trowel

just tap water will clean them!! dont know why anyone would fook about putting anything else in. brick acid :RpS_scared::RpS_lol:

So if you leave it in water over the weekend will it just wipe clean? Mines are all spotless now but good to know in future:RpS_thumbup:

The best thing for cleaning trowels is a labourer and a pack of sandpaper, i find it keeps them off the phone too :RpS_wink:
