Defo give it a go if it was cheaper bnq 11:50 a bag pallet still sitting there about 5 bags gone jewsons ,selco and travis by me said they won't stock it because of last lot of problems they had
Just a thought can uni be used on its own ie boards, moisture boards and everything multie does including pregrit and skim?
Just to add also sand and cement? So this gear is exactly the same as multie but in some cases no need for a pre grit primer or pva? @BritishGypsum
Is the magic ingredient ground unicorn horn in this stuff hence uni finish?? Would be a much better headline than Tesco's pathetic horse burgers stunt???
Why don't you answer the main question, why it's twice the price? That's what members want to know. There's a whole pallet in my local b and q that's untouched. It's already a month out of date. Said they might let me have it cheap in a fortnight if nobody was buying it. He said the main reason it wasn't shifting was the priceHi @flynnyman, moisture boards are not a problem for UniFinish so it would be perfect. On the subject of sand and cement it would depend on the age. If newly applied then not a problem, if its old then it’s very likely it would pull in too much so would not be ideal. Hope that helps!

Thats a late start mate 11.36 in B&Q ??
Thought the same myself, and maybe that's what @British gypsum thought originally too. But seem to have backed right off with it.Does anyone think that possibly in the future they will sack off multi and board finish and just have uni? It does cover most things without much hassle or confusion
Did u do it?Yeah Im gonna use it . Got a few artex ceilings to go over next monday.
No worries..I didn't mate no. It was out of date and they wouldn't discount it. Speaking to Alan on the counter he said the same as most on here that it wasn't shifting because it was too expensive. Said another spread said it was deffo worth it for painted Artex to save on peregrine or hanging about
