I read it on the pallet they still have in B &Q that isn't getting any lower, so thought I would read the sell by date, simple, if I used it I would say but I won't be paying £11 a bag.

Not sure to be honest...the magnetic is the same,has a longer shelf life as well.I think the newer finish products might be made to last longer cus they don't sell as much as the multi maybe.multi is the most popular and so probably don't need to have a longer shelf life.

@BritishGypsum just a quick one, why is the sell by date on uni nearly a year and multie a few months? Also why is it not printed on the bag rather than a sticker? Noticed a similar thing on the thistle bond-it no sell by date just a sticker which can easily be swapped.

Hi Flynnyman. UniFinish doesn't have a different shelf life to MultiFinish so we'll investigate this for you. In terms of the way it's printed, this is because it's on a different line to the MultiFinish

I am going to rip off the sticker tomorrow and have a look underneath at B&Q see what it says..

For the record I have never stolen anything from B&Q..but when the check out assistance asks how many r on the trolley I always say 5 bags when really there is 10 ..and a Marshalltown underneath..not my fault they never check.

Your in trouble now mate, my wife is a manager in b and q and unfortunately I have to pass this onto her. If you don't belive me just ask @Fatarm hes barred from every b and q north of Carlisle.

Yeah I sometimes put blades for the razor scraper on the trolley first, maybe some clouts or a Stanley knife, then put the plaster on top of that. And then leave all my rubbish out the van on the trolley and I'm gone. Don't leave receipts or anything incriminating in it though
