Using Lime render and sbr advice

So I’m having a bit of a mare trying to work out the best way forward internally rendering my house with so much different and confusing information about I feel like I’ve messed it up already .

So i have an old house about 100 years old double brick wall construction with empty cavity that had some damp problems and heard using lime in the mix was the way forward to help with this , also heard about using sbr all the time instead of pva .

So I have used sbr on the wall as a primer and then put on the scratch coat on which has lime In it , was then going to paint sbr on again as a bond for the next coat .

So my question is would that be a big mistake as it would trap damp in the scratch coat if the sbr is not permeable and therefor making it pointless me using the lime in render ?

I’m pretty much a novice , can’t afford to get a professional in unfortunately and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated .

Also this was my plan and mix for the walls if people think this is the way to go if not what should I do ?

Diluted sbr bonding coat
1 . Scratch coat - 1 cement 1 lime 4 sand
Another bonding coat
2 . Top coat - 1 cement 1 lime 5 sand
Another bonding coat
3 . Plaster

Any help to save me making a disaster of this
