Van finance

Hi, anyone of you got van on finance? If so what type of finance? Also what make and model and how much you pay ? I'm considering doing it maybe next year, my van is reaching really high mileage and I can feel it in my bones that it won't make it next year, so would rather just sell it soon.

How strict are they about mileage? I heard about penalty miles if you go over. I got van signage too but the kind of that is stuck on the van, would they have problems with that and generally wear and tear is unavoidable so what about that? I seen some good deals on vanarama, thinking of Renault trafic sport.

Lease then hand back at MOT time. You can drive the best available. I’ve bought bangers in the past and I was constantly shelling out for repairs. False economy
Ye but casper, when you think about it your like spending a weeks wage per month on leasing your van,for us more affluent people its a days pay if that but you need to think about it mate

Are you talking about me spending a weeks wages? Well let me explain. My weeks are 3-4 days. My van is paid in 2 days. It’s top spec and f**k**g great to drive and turn up at domestics in. I really can’t understand tradesmen driving piles of ageing junk. They need to have a word with themselves.

2 days pay ! Barely on £140 per day then,no wonder your kitchens in knackers yard

Is my maths s**t? 2 days pay and a van of that ilk is roughly £280 ish per month so maybe at a stretch £320 even thats £160 a day only

So the cracks are starting with the lies Casper!
Van finance

Cracks? Nope. I’m f**k**g padded. I only need 3 days a week. But I confess, I’m getting a bit bored with my days off.

Here we go again, like kids in the sandpit and I only want some help with van lease, would love to buy one but can't justify spending 20k on the van when its value would decrease more than half in first 24 months...

Well, buy something at 5k and hope it’s a good van and doesn’t need too much maintenance

Pipe down lad we are having a tug with casper its called having a laugh

Leasing is the way to go if you want to drive new and good spec. I know as I’ve done it often enough. 15k miles a year for no extra money. People need to get over the mileage b*ll***s and the lease payments. FFS it’s a brand new van with the latest tech and a full warranty.
