Why you want to carry surplus boards? Just tip it on the job, if you have too many chuck it in the lock up.

If you can fit in boards on edge, then just leave a foot gap, ply wall, racking, leaving rest of space for tools and plaster etc.

already got one of them some poncey joiner left it on a job after getting the elbow, they are descent as dust pans go.Hurts my back bending down to get boards ,

Ah I see100s of reasons from unexpected works on a domestic job to walking onto jobs blind for builders etc.
Also allowing extra boards for ceilings etc why throw them and profit away?

I can stand up still but I'm only 5ft 8.What needed 15 or so.
10 in and 5 on top or have them all delivered?
I thought about putting a false floor in but I like the fact I can stand up without it.
