Took me all day today o over board 3 6 x 3 boards up . Skim a bags worth of skim. Back to do a bag and half in morning . Think bills 420 . Enough for me for week work wise and money wise lol

@BritishGypsum i think they should sell accelerator separately with guide lines of how much you add to 25kg , and then obviously if you want it to set even quicker you can work out how much more accelerator to add by calculating bg guidelines

There are already plenty of decent accelerators on the market. I think we should be supporting these smaller local businesses rather than the likes of BG.

It was a discussion that took place, but with a sachet it’s down to human error, even if it’s half a bag of plaster that’s only a guess as would the half of the sachet be.
Speeding the setting process up can and does reduce the adhesion of the plaster to the background. That’s why additional additives are being added to the plaster and then BG guarantee the product. I dare say that if any failures do occur when using additives they will say it’s not covered and at the users discretion.

Out of interest @The Apprentice when trialing this fast set plaster what happens with the trial plaster. Asking cause the multi I had today didn't seem to hang about .

The irish have had a version for years which is made by saint gobain so BG just copied it.
