Waterproof board.

Hello All

I've got to skim a solid roof for a conservatory and instead of boarding it with plasterboard it is being boarded with a waterproof board (See pics).
So in theory being waterproof there is no suction.
Has anyone gone over these before? the company doing it say pva first but I was wondering if some WBA might be better.

Any advise would be gratefully received.

that is marmox board. usually for tanking and bathrooms etc.
ive rendered over it not skimmed.
the grey coat is cementious your waterproofing is in the blue insulation

yeah you can tile direct to it aswell. just not sure on skimming on it. have a look.at their website

I've stuck that board in showers and changing rooms in gyms with dry wall adhesive years back , no primer nothing . Stuck like s#it

Just for the record boys and girls found this on the Marmox FAQs.

12) Can I apply a plaster finish to the Marmox boards?
Yes, the surface of the boards contain additives to reduce the porosity and stop the possible formation of etteringite salts which can sometimes occur when a gypsum plaster is applied to a concrete surface. The boards therefore do not need to be primed.

It also says on there NOT to use drywall adhesive on them.
