Tell you what, the last time I used it (the first batch) I was working for a builder. He hasn't used me since! I noticed on the back of the new bags there's a disclaimer saying to discontinue use on high suction backgrounds and treat accordingly first. Sadly I never read the back of the bag as it clearly states on the FRONT of the bag NO PVA required.

Yeah nisus, I got caught out big style on 4m2. The unifinish set in a few minutes. Virtually impossible to flatten. Second coat immediately on afterwards. That set fairly rapidly and gave me a rough time trowelling!!! Really, really regretted buying unifinish for what should have been a very easy job
