step ladder instead of a hop up. Does this not do your b*ll***s in using that ladder. When im doing a wall, i useley have 2 or 3 hop ups if not using tressels. Plasterman, do you not find your hands dry up to much with not using gloves plastering. Me personaly, i hate that dry feeling ya get after the plaster/plaster water has all dried on ones hands.

Got new steps now the ones electricians use...never liked hop ups but they wouldn't let me use my milk crate.

Wash me hands in splash bucket and face before I start in the mornings...then put hair gel on and sunglasses eye protection.

I was hoping you where going to say you left the hop ups in the van. As for washing your hands in the bucket, just make sure you dont pick the dingle berries of your ring with hands like that. You wouldnt like a plaster rash where the sun dont shine

I love the factory tours and the passion of the staff at bg always a pleasure to go there

Fcuking hate it! Ive got some stick thou on some sites weighing in with lovely pink merygold gloves lol. Its all what they had left in the shop and soon as i seen the coulour, i knew i was in for a lovely day on site. As for the dry hands, i dont know how some do it, hands in buckets all day every day. That dry feeling all week on my hands sends me nuts, thats why i refuse to plaster without gloves now.

Bring and old towel with for keeping your skim hand glove dry and handle. I know what your saying thou, gloves can hinder using a trowel but if you bring a towel, youll be ok.
Gloves, towels, hair gel, sunbathing glasses,5 different trowel's,mouthwash and pedicure handcream, ready made pack up and coffee...get all that in first then start loading materials in.

Haha.ive seen him on the adverts in b and q.
never knew he was from here, wow! Famous from the forum, hahaha.
