Weber OR K Rend

Hello everyone, new to the forum, hoping to learn a few things :RpS_thumbup:

I'm sure most have you have seen the same question over and over again I've seen a few post on here about it but the posts were posted years ago

I'm thinking about going on a new render course, but which is better the K Rend course in Ireland or the Weber course in Flitwick?

Anyone been on any latley?

Any advice would be appreciated

Weber would be a good starting point ,for learning what the material can do and so on ,Paul ,that takes the class is a good guy ,it can be a bit machine based ,but even if you hand ball ,don,t worry ,best of luck

Think of going on the K-Rend course next year. £75+vat full day and food included. Though have to add costs of flights as well (our lass found them to be £130 return!) Had a look on the website and it looks good..

I done the K rend 1 day course last year, and personally would never be confident doing a job for someone after it. I got to lay on about a hawk full of stuff, then just watched the guy taking the course flatten off stuff that he had put on earlier that day, then scratched about a half a square meter of stuff that had been done the day before. although you get to see each stage your not really getting a feel for how the material works, the guys taking the course do know their stuff and can answer any questions. I reckon the best way to learn is to try and go with someone that knows what theyre doing. unfortunatly textured renders arent that popular round my way so im struglling to find anyone that i could tag along with :-(

Good choice Aaron,did the Krend course years ago and its 95% theory.

Do the Weber one for the lunch spread alone ! plus their gear is not to bad to use either
