Recently moved into a new build property 6 weeks ago and only in one of the bedrooms after rainfall the Dot and Dab marks are coming through more prominent and then fade again after a few days in one area. The property was sealed in January 2024 and plasterboarded that month aswell but is still not drying out ? I have cut a hole in the plasterboard and the the Thermalite block is dry. This area during the building process was extremely wet ( photo attached Dec2023) when it was exposed to the elements. So could that be a the possible issue and part of the drying out process ?
Any advise would be much appreciated as the developer is stating the property is still drying out and will dissappear over time but obviously don't want any issues in the future.
