Wethby basecoat

Do any of you intellectual masters of your trade know if wethby basecoat can be applied to a existing rendered surface, obviously sbr first ? Cheers

Unpainted yes.
If painted they will probably tell you to pin it through out

Yes I always pin my over renders but usually use sps retrobase but have 150 bags of wethby in shed

Is it the hp12? If so yes, pin if painted.

Does no one ever scabble back painted finishes these days! ...?

Much prefer having some suction on to original background.
