Doing a wet room at mo for an elderly lady in sheltered type housing. Thought it was paramount board at first which is s**t, but this is even better. Sole plate and header with verticals on corners. Layer Pb tacked on, then layer dabbed middle, layer dabbed and tacked other side. No vertical studs.

That's called laminate portion. It should have another 12.5mm board in the middle. It was all the rage 25 years ago.

new one on me. 3 layers with a 20 mm dabbed in the middle. Some of the cables were left on top of the 20mm so when the final layer went on there were massive bends in the wall. Lazy bastards.
No way that pile of shite is gonna carry a wall mounted basin. Carefully removed the outer layer of PB and got 18mm OSB to fix into what bit of stud is there and copious amounts of foam adhesive to give it some rigidity, before fitting tile boards on.
