What do tape and jointers do on construction sites?

Someone I know is part of some facebook group which advertises tape and joint jobs.

As far as im aware. Thats not really difficult even if you have no experience. Am i wrong?

I mean what do they do really? Tape up joints, repair little holes here and there

The worst job in the plastering trade. It is a job that requires several visits jointing and sanding down. It now seams that they have forgotten the final sealing of the boards for decorating. It is faster to skim the plasterboard.
