What do you think will happen in 2015?

Read a few years back that u could buy properties in the NE, possibly run down areas of Newcastle, Middlesbrough ? Maybe for 50 pence, maybe more expensive now. Why not buy the whole St for you and your families and reclaim the areas ?. I know you got white trash there but not as bad as the trash in London I would have thought ?

If you can prove you have the finances in place to develop them from time to time a street full will go up for a pound a house.
I know a lad who did very well out of buy to lets in the roughest part of middlesborough you can imagine, didn't pay more than 5k per house and spent less than 5k per house tidying them up has about 100+ now.

I knew there would be a snag. A Quid now :RpS_cursing:

Seriously tho, can't be that hard for 20 of you spreads in that area coming up with 5k each and buying a rough street and getting it sorted ? 48 houses on my street, if you come up with 300k each to sub let them,we can teach everyone english or better again Irish, cos there's more Irish than English here :RpS_laugh:

We tried this but but the local authorities made too many hoops...

However my friends are struggling to convert an hospital at the moment into 80 odd flats... local councils hate to see people make money...

Sorry lads , using wifi on iPad on carferry, mAy lose signal. Had a nice drive to northwest and spent a couple hours in Jurek towers, nice guy , awesome IT skills :RpS_thumbup:

More trades will rob us by taking plastering on as I've just been to look at one gave price too dear apparently a block paver can do it for half ok bye fukkas !hope his internals are straighter than his herringbone ffs

As local to us as poss mate really ideally would be southport and surrounding areas as I know them, but getting anything that we can add value round here for less than 100k isn't easy so thinking Lancashire trying to stay away from Liverpool as I don't really know it as well as u would like and it's a bit of a mine field..

Any places you would suggest?

I've lived in Huyton and Prescot side is ok but Hill side and that way aren't so great.

I've stayed in Anfield for about 3 months and I wouldn't bother anywhere near there..

Obviously Allerton and that way is decent but again prices round there will be fairly high I imagine.

We will be looking to sell rather than let initially.

Allerton, childwall, Aigburth, mossley hill, areas are spot on but like you say its pricey can't see there even being anything really I was looking there and anything to do up would be sold within a week usually to developers. I gave up in the end. Looking at rainford/Ormskirk myself to see what comes up. Maghull is decent plenty of boozers, cafes, restaurant etc

I don't know southport at all other than how to get in to ainsdale beach and back out again.

West derby a good area to buy and hold and also rent .. It's not the best area but the aspirational people from the more local poorer postcodes want to get there

Two good local hospitals mean lots of tenants

The family used to live next to west derby just when I was about to be born. They used west derby for shops/pubs and me brother and sisters went to at Paul's school but me dad recons it's not the place it used to be back then. Sandfield park round the corner too also very nice. Price range is way north tho
