are you a qualified plumber free d? cus if i had to pay you the same price as a plumber i'd rather pay him so if anything goes wrong he knows what to do.

I dont remove rads no more, after reading someones horror story from here!

Sometimes the joints have corroded and arent leaking, UNTIL you try to move them then it can cause all sorts of s**t, and personally I wouldnt have time to drain down the system, replace joint and then bleed all the rads!

Why whats the problem with that mate? Just turn it off as normal?

I'm not qualified...I have my city and guilds level 2 plumbing. I've often had to hang around waiting for plumbers on bathroom installations and small maintenance jobs like this thats why I did the course...it really is a straight forward job when you know how. If you run into problems charge by the hour, its not like other trades customers tend to be pretty excepting of an hourly rate. Just make sure u've got insurance that covers for water damage and use of heat.

If I've got a big job...then i'll sub it out.

lol i've got a good book as well m8 u'd like it Water Regulations Guide, add it to your collection Kurt.v ;D

they do tend to leak when the heating comes on. usually take the thermo valve off then fit a decorators cap on the top where the valve is.what i shall do is take the rad off skim and flatten then put the rad back on. ;)
