i work on books for a company ,and they are H&S mad , every trade must wear gloves at all times , ( got caught about 5 months ago , got a verbal warning , on my record for 6 months along with a joiner trying to put a grub screw in ) and following day NHBC bloke walkin about site with no gloves on , apparently maximum 1 man can lift is 20kg , yes brethrin i can hear you all shoutin ,, remember them days lads, 50 kg bags , 3 on shoulder of the wagon , straight in house upstairs first , no hi-ab them days ,:RpS_thumbup:

believe it or not Kemp , joiner should wear gloves but they are allowed fingerless 1,s , surely thats defeating object , theres about 5 or 6 differant types of gloves you can choose from ,,:RpS_confused:

Problem is they see a lad cutting his hand off with a chop saw then think oh maybe he should have been wearing a pair of latex gloves

its a load a barllocks int it Spunky , i,m sure they think that Vis Vest puts a magical shield around you , we even should wear them when we work in tennanted houses but we,re ok to drive around iced up roads , madness gone daft Brother Spunky:razz:

i think the glove thing hasnt been thought out i mean they hold dust and if your hands sweat and you use the same gloves every day i think they could cause dermatitis

I remember working for ROK they had the glove policy the bloke doing the toolbox talk said are these good for plasterers then. It was a big f'ck off rubber glove that
went half way up your arm, made out of some horrible s**t that wouldnt flex at all.. Looked like what a vet would wear for shoving up a cows arse or summat.
Thick tw@t.

So how come no HS are telling you how much gear to knock up taking into account the weight of water and and a bag of skim
must weigh..

You know when you turn that little lever it comes out automatically you don't have to look down it :RpS_lol:
