What kind of plaster is this?

Hi All, I've just bought a new property project, doing a full refurb, but I'm not sure what sort of plaster this is, lime or sand cement. Or can I just Febond /Pva and use multi finish?

Seem high suction, was thinking a tight coat of hardwall first.

Hardwall is for high suction blockwork... I would get a plasterer in to at the very least give you some advice....
 
So getting a plasterer is all the advice I can get? Great! so what's the point of this forum!?

If you're unable to tell what plaster it is simply just say so.

Wow this really is a cr#p forum after all, between plasterers bragging about what they can do and putting off others, this is just brilliant! The amount of threads I see on this forum with replies such as get a plaster, pay someone who knows what he's doing etc.. Isn't it the point of a forum? Learning and help others?

Closing my account this has to be the worse community ever.

Dry your eyes, Princess. Getting a plasterer is the best advice you can get.

That kind of plaster is cracked plaster, by the way. The best way to deal with cracked plaster is to pay someone to fix it.

Well after chasing money of a job for last week . Should be paid today. This made me laugh..... call ye sen plasterers.
From now on we should just tell people exactly what to do . Then when they have f**k*d it up tell em its gonna cost em twice as much if you get a so called "plasterers" in .

This is called The Plasterer's Forum,
what part of that name suggests that non plasterers can come on and get free advice?
To be honest when I stop coming on here it's usually because I get pissed off with all the fuckwits who are clearly not plasterers asking how to do simple s**t. The public asking annoy me fractionally less, just.
